Fixing holes, fastening and covers

Original enclosure parts from Manufacturer must always be used.

No unauthorised interference is allowed.

Cover and enclosure machined faces shall not be scratched/scored or corroded.

All cover screws must be fitted and properly tightened.

All screw entries in cover are shrouded, requiring a special tool.

Threaded gland entries shall have a minimum of five full threads engaged.

Exd enclosure covers can be supplied with inspection windows. These windows are made of thick, safety glass. The safety glass and its sealing joint onto the enclosure cover is part of the enclosure pressure testing.

Only approved replacement inspection windows are permitted.
